Blender Bootcamp – AUST Innovation and Design Club

AUST Innovation & Design Club organized a two-day-long session on ‘Blender’ called ‘๐๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐œ๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ’ on the 23rd and 24th of January 2022 at 7 p.m. It was a two-hours long workshop. This was a beginner-friendly workshop designed to improve the students’ skill set. It was a fantastic opportunity for beginners to learn the fundamentals of 3D animation in Blender and enhance their skills. To attend this workshop 150+ students registered online from all the departments for free beforehand and only shortlisted 90+ of them were given access to attend the workshop through the mail. The platform for the workshop was Zoom.

The significance of this workshop was:
โ˜… To inspire the students to use Blender.
โ˜… To enhance the use of 3D art & animation.
โ˜… To get hands-on training on Blender.
‘Blender Bootcamp’ was designed to teach students the foundations of Blender software, giving them a head start in the industry. The instructor of this workshop was none other than ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐…๐š๐›๐ข ๐๐š๐ก๐ข๐š๐ง ๐Œ๐š๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฃ๐š, who is currently a 3D instructor at The Tech Academy. Ms. Fabi Nahian Madhurja kicked off the meeting with zeal and passion. She demonstrated all of the blender’s features and tools while creating a 3D animated model in real-time. Students enthusiastically participated in the session with the instructor. The top performers in the workshop received an ๐ž-๐œ๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ž. Finally, during the ๐&๐€ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง, the instructor addressed all of the students’ competitive Blender questions and assured them that they would receive all necessary extra assistance if they had any problems. Mutakabbirul Islam Pranto, General Secretary of AUST Innovation & Design Club concluded the workshop with a short speech and guidance, and to say, the workshop was a huge success and very informative in terms of meeting the needs of the students.

Overall, the workshop was participatory, entertaining and well-designed to precisely fit the needs of the students, which was our club’s main aim. Mutakabbirul Islam Pranto, GS of AUSTIDC moderated the whole event. Ms. Fabi Nahian Madhurja’s excellent workshop session is greatly appreciated by the AUST Innovation & Design Club. The club is grateful to the instructor for her time and works in putting together such a well-organized session.
